Hello! I’m Maleeha Pandit, a 5th-year medical student and experienced tutor with over 3,000 hours of teaching across the past six years. I specialise in UCAT preparation, personal statements, medical school interviews, and GCSE/A-Level science subjects.
Currently studying Medicine & Surgery, I bring a friendly, approachable style and a results-driven approach to every session. As one of the top tutors at MedicMind, I’ve helped over a thousand students, including successful Oxbridge applicants, secure places in medical school and achieve their academic goals.
I have helped over hundred of student’s secure places at top medical schools, and I am widely recognised as a top-performing tutor with a proven success rate in medical applications, admissions tests, and interview preparation.
I scored exceptionally well in my admissions tests, allowing me to share proven strategies that maximize student performance. I have personally secured multiple medical school offers and have helped over thousands of students for past 6 years teaching UCAT, and BMAT to perfect their applications through tailored interview coaching and personal statement editing. With thousands of hours of tutoring, I have refined my methods to deliver exceptional results, guiding students toward top-tier university offers. I take a personalised and strategic approach to tutoring, ensuring that each session is designed for maximum impact and efficient learning.
Outside of tutoring, I am actively involved in medical societies, research projects, and mentorship programs. My hobbies include gym workouts, badminton, reading medical literature, and mentoring future doctors!
I have recently graduated from biomedical science. This degree taught me many skills for example, how to communicate with my peers, students from other cohorts and academics. I particularly found this rewarding as I now know how to communicate with people on different levels like; when talking to students in younger years I converse with a mentor tone. This way I ease them into the course and identify challenges they may face.
Furthermore, these communication skills have allowed me to flourish in my medicine course as I can hold an open discussion with my peers and academics. This often leads to debates which allows us to explore topics and gain a wider understanding.
In my spare time, I look to read up on current affairs and cook which helps me to relax and wind down for the day. This is also an excellent method to destress yourself and develop resilience. I also like to look up scientific articles on the Nature Journal. It has made me up to date on the various scientific milestones. I found the article about breast screening particularly interesting because it is of use to me as it relates to what I want to do as a future oncologist.
Hi there, my name is Hammad. I’m a 4th year medic at Hull York Medical School (HYMS). I’m an aspiring paediatric surgeon and came across this opportunity from Medic Mind to get into teaching, something very much needed as a surgeon or doctor in general.
Due to being a high performer throughout my science subjects from highschool right through to university, I have taught a lot of my peers informally during class or outside of it. I feel I have a rather unique teaching style, using analogies and getting students to explain what they’ve learned or know already back to me, essentially incorporating my learning style (The Feynman Technique) into how I teach. Its lead to quite a high satisfaction rate among my peers and even patients, with my peers coming back whenever they don’t understand topics, recommending me to friends and even some recommendations by peers to go into formal teaching in the future, so I thought, why not put it to good use and get into tutoring.
So if my teaching style or even just my profile interest you, then drop me a message and I’ll be happy to help 🙂

I am currently a Computer Science teacher at secondary school in London. I have an in MSc Physics from KCL with interests to pursue academia and research. Previously, I studied BSc Natural Sciences (specialising in Physics and Mathematics) at UCL. Coming from an interdisciplinary degree, I have been able to appreciate the interconnectedness of the varying sciences and mathematics. I have had tutoring experience with Medic Mind over the past 3 years, with a particular focus on teaching GCSE and A-Level Sciences and Mathematics. I aim to provide the quality of teaching tailored to a specific student, with an emphasis on their concerns and demands for their academic progress. My proficiency in the subjects I teach is also reflected in my completion of GCSE Sciences by Year 10. I have also co-edited tutorials and books for Medic Mind, and so I am equipped in teaching the content we deliver.
